Welcome to the Open Textbooks Wiki
A site designed to provide links and information about finding and adopting open textbooks.

I have been using open textbooks in my physics classes at South Florida Community College for three years and would never go back to a traditional textbook. The adaptability offered by open textbooks is phenomenal. Having the luxury to be able to customize the course text to mirror your teaching strategies and to have the flexibility to cover topics the way you want is extremely rewarding. Once I took the plunge to adopt an open textbook, I never looked back. I hope you will find similar success and personal satisfaction. Good luck.
